Early Arrivals and Late Departures
If you are scheduled to arrive earlier than 2.00 pm and would like to have immediate access to your room, or apartment, we recommend reserving the night prior to arrival. For late departures, reserving an additional night will guarantee the use of your room until you leave the Motel. If you choose not to reserve the additional night, we will store your luggage until it can be collected.
Prepayment and Guarantee
All reservations are prepaid or guaranteed with a major credit card upon confirmation. The amount charged to your credit card is the total accommodation cost for the period reserved, including government taxes.
General Off Peak Cancellation Policy
If cancellation is advised 24 hours or more prior to arrival date, there will be no cancellation fee charged. Cancellation fee will apply if cancellation is within 24 hours of arrival date. The fee will be equivalent to one night’s accommodation on the tariff for the room booked.
Requests for changes to length of reservation, dates or Suite types are subject to availability and may result in a rate change.
If the change cannot be accommodated and results in a cancellation, normal cancellation and refund policies apply.
The Motel reserves the right to apply an administration fee if the change is made outside of the time requirement and/or directly or indirectly results in lost revenue.
PEAK PERIOD: Peak period is from the start of the Christmas School Holidays until the end of January each year as well as Easter and Event Weekends.
PEAK PERIOD BOOKING POLICY: All bookings made for these periods will require a deposit at time of booking. The deposit will be equal to One Night’s Accommodation per room booked.
PEAK PERIOD CANCELLATION POLICY: There is a minimum 30 days notice of cancellation per room per booking.
Cancellations made 30 days or more before date of arrival will incur a $25 cancellation fee and the balance of your deposit will be refunded.
Cancellations made between 15-30 days of date of arrival will incur a cancellation fee of $50.
Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival date will incur a cancellation fee equivalent one night’s accommodation per room per booking therefore No refund of deposit can be given.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of date of arrival will be charged the full amount of stay. This also applies to non-arrivals.
No Smoking Policy
Smoking is not permitted inside the rooms or in the pool area. Smoking is permitted in public open-air spaces and the balconies adjoining the rooms. If there is evidence that smoking has occurred in the room a cleaning fee of up to $500.00 will be charged against your credit card.
For the comfort of all guests we do not permit pets in the motel rooms or any area within the motel. Pets are permitted in specific room types in our apartment suites only upon prior arrangement and must be well groomed and free of fleas. Under no circumstances are pets permitted on the beds or on carpeted areas. If pets or evidence of pets is found in the rooms, an additional cleaning fee up to the value of $500 will be charged against your credit card to cover costs of fumigation and cleaning.
